Set in the grounds of Hampton Court Palace, the golf club has the enviable accolade of being the only course set in a Royal Park.
The course dates back to 1895 and was “recently” remodelled by Willie Park Junior in 1904 who was careful to make the course a discreet addition to Home Park whilst allowing the golfer wonderful views of the Palace.
This historic 6514 yard par 71 course offers a blend of parkland and links. Built on gravel and hidden in a nook of the Thames, the course is free draining giving it a weather proofed reputation. The course is dominated by symmetrical lines of lime trees and copses of oak. Despite being a little more than ¼ mile from Kingston Upon Thames the course is a tranquil hideaway with 310 inquisitive roaming deer adding to the golf experience. |
